Id– Menjelang pelaksanaan Pilkada serentak tahun 2024, Kapolres Ogan Ilir AKBP Bagus Suryo Wibowo, S.IK melaksanakan kunjungan kerja ke kantor Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Kabupaten Ogan Ilir pada Senin, 22 Juli 2024. Kunjungan yang berlangsung mulai pukul 13.50 WIB ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan diri sekaligus bersilaturahmi dengan pimpinan KPU serta melihat kesiapan lembaga tersebut dalam menghadapi pesta demokrasi mendatang.

Dalam kunjungan tersebut, Kapolres Ogan Ilir disambut oleh Ketua KPU Kabupaten Ogan Ilir, Ibu Masjida S.H.I, M.H beserta jajaran komisioner KPU. Turut Hadir pula Kabag Ops Polres Ogan Ilir Kompol Kusyanto, SH, Kasat Reskrim Polres Ogan Ilir AKP M. Ilham, S.IK, KBO Sat Intelkam IPTU Yulius, Kanit Pidkor Polres Ogan Ilir IPDA Iwanto Putra, SH, dan Kanit Sospol Sat Intelkam Polres Ogan Ilir AIPDA Heri Usman.

Dalam sambutannya, AKBP Bagus Suryo Wibowo menyampaikan harapannya agar terjalin koordinasi yang baik antara Polres Ogan Ilir dan KPU Kabupaten Ogan Ilir dalam menghadapi setiap tahapan Pilkada serentak yang akan segera berlangsung. “Koordinasi yang baik sangat penting untuk memastikan keamanan dan kelancaran seluruh proses Pilkada,” ujar Kapolres.

Ketua KPU Kabupaten Ogan Ilir, Ibu Masjida S.H.I, M.H, mengapresiasi kunjungan Kapolres dan menyampaikan terima kasih atas perhatian dan dukungan yang diberikan. “Kami siap bekerja sama dan berkoordinasi dengan Polres Ogan Ilir untuk menyukseskan Pilkada serentak 2024,” ungkapnya.

Kunjungan kerja ini berlangsung dengan suasana hangat dan penuh kekeluargaan, serta berakhir pada pukul 14.30 WIB dalam keadaan aman dan kondusif. Saat ini, KPU Kabupaten Ogan Ilir sedang melaksanakan tahapan Coklit (Pencocokan dan Penelitian Data Pemilih oleh Pantarlih) yang dimulai sejak 24 Juni dan akan berakhir pada 24 Juli 2024.

Dengan terlaksananya kunjungan ini, diharapkan sinergi antara Polres Ogan Ilir dan KPU Kabupaten Ogan Ilir dapat terus terjaga demi terselenggaranya Pilkada yang aman, tertib, dan lancar diwilayah kabupaten ogan ilir.
