Sagri, Japanese start-up, will accelerate the carbon neutral from the farmland via the power of satellite and AI

Sagri will accelerate the carbon neutral from the farmland via participating in the Southeast Asia Smart Agriculture Demonstration Support Project in Thailand organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in Japan.

Sagri Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “Sagri”) will participate in the Southeast Asia Smart Agriculture Demonstration Support Project in FY2023 in Thailand organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in Japan.

In this project, Sagri will demonstrate the use of satellite data and AI in farmland demarcation, soil analysis, and carbon credit generation in collaboration with companies and universities in Thailand.

At the end of the study, we will have an opportunity to present the results of the demonstration to the Thailand government.

Starting from Thailand, Sagri will aim to expand its business horizontally to other ASEAN countries.
