Narasumber yang dihadirkan adalah CSR Specialist PT Mitra Multi Indomining (MMI), Nor Qomariyah, S.HI., MM..

Mengawali pemaparannya, Nor menyampaikan bahwa banyak stakeholder terlibat dalam kerusakan lingkungan yang terjadi saat ini. Mulai dari perusahaan, pemerintah, dan masyarakat.

“Melihat kerusakan lingkungan saat ini ada beberapa aktor yang andil dalam pencemaran lingkungan seperti perusahaan, pemerintah, dan masyarakat. Hal-hal yang terjadi karena kesadaran secara sosial yang masif sehingga perlu kita dorong untuk perbaikan bersama,” ujarnya.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) merupakan strategi jangka panjang untuk keberlanjutan bisnis perusahaan dengan harapan berdampak positif pada aspek sosial, ekonomi, dan lingkungan.

“CSR sebuah konsep yang memiliki banyak tanggung jawab yang diperuntukkan bagi stakeholder, konsumen, karyawan, shareholder, komunitas dan keseluruhan aspek di perusahaan. Secara keseluruhan CSR tidak hanya untuk memenuhi ekspektasi secara sosial saja tetapi penting untuk membina hubungan positif dengan stakeholders dan memastikan keberhasilan bisnis jangka panjang”

Saat ini kita dihadapkan dengan persoalan iklim secara nyata. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, dapat dilakukan melalui kegiatan konservasi lingkungan yang dapat dilakukan perusahaan.

“CSR mencakup praktik bisnis yang bertujuan untuk menjaga bisnis tetap berjalan dan berkelanjutan salah satunya melaksanakan konservasi lingkungan dengan menerapkan praktik ramah lingkungan, mengurangi emisi karbon, meminimalkan limbah, menghemat air, dan menggunakan sumber energi terbarukan sehingga memberikan dampak ekologis yang signifikan pada suatu bisnis,” ucap Nor.
