SAMOSIR- Bertempat di Pantai Ikan Mas, Tandarabun, Desa Dosroha, Kecamatan Simanindo, Kabupaten Samosir, Kwartir Daerah Gerakan Pramuka Sumatera Utara menggelar Kemah Kaldera Toba IV Tahun 2024. Acara dibuka oleh Ketua Kwarda Sumut H. Nurdin Lubis, SH, MM didampingi Plt. Bupati Samosir yang diwakili Asisten III Arnod Sitorus, pada Jumat (27/9/2024)

Kemah Kaldera Toba IV 2024 diikuti peserta dari seluruh Kwarcab Se-Sumut ditambah peserta dari Kwarcab Pasaman, Sumatera Barat, akan berlangsung mulai tanggal 27 s.d 30 September 2024.

Ketua Sangga Kerja Theresia Marpaung mengatakan kegiatan Kaldera Toba IV Tahun 2024 mengusung Tema : Beraksi Dengan Karya Galakkan Pesona Kaldera Toba, akan melibatkan penegak Pandega terbaik se-Sumut utusan dari Kwartir Cabang Se Sumatera Utara dan Kwartir Daerah Terdekat .

Theresia menyampaikan terimakasih atas dukungan dan semangat yang diberikan Pemerintah Kabupaten Samosir dan Kwartir Cabang Gerakan Pramuka Samosir.

Mewakili Plt. Bupati Samosir, Asisten III Arnod Sitorus mengapresiasi pelaksanaan Kemah Kaldera Toba IV di Kabupaten Samosir.

“Terimakasih telah mempercayakan Samosir sebagai lokasi Kemah Kaldera Toba IV. Kepada seluruh peserta kami sampaikan selamat mengikuti, semoga berjalan dengan lancar”, ujar Arnod Sitorus.

Ketua Kwarda Sumatera Utara H. Nurdin Lubis mengatakan pelaksanaan Kemah Kaldera Toba IV Tahun 2024 merupakan salah satu upaya Kwarda Sumut untuk memperkenalkan wisata di kawasan Danau Toba.

“Sebagaimana diketahui, Danau Toba yang menjadi salah satu destinasi pariwisata super prioritas telah tersertifikasi tingkat dunia oleh UNESCO Global Geopark (UGG) pada Sidang ke-209 Dewan Eksekutif UNESCO di Paris, Prancis, pada 2 Juli 2020 lalu”, katanya.

Penetapan UNESCO Global Geopark memberi kesempatan dan tanggung jawab bagi Indonesia, untuk mendorong pengembangan perekonomian dan pembangunan berkelanjutan di kawasan Danau Toba.

Kemah ini juga merupakan upaya dalam mendukung pengembangan potensi bermasyarakat dalam diri peserta, sebagai kader pemimpin di gerakan pramuka dan masyarakat, serta meningkatkan kecintaan pemuda terhadap kelestarian alam dan Budaya.

Kegiatan ini nantinya diharapkan mampu memberikan kontribusi terhadap kemajuan pariwisata Sumatera Utara khususnya daerah sekitar Danau Toba.

Turut hadir pada acara pembukaan, jajaran pengurus Kwarda Gerakan Pramuka Sumut, Pimpinan Kwartir Cabang Se-Sumut, Kadis Budpar Samosir Tetti Naibaho, Kadis Perhubungan Laspayer Sipayung, serta para pendamping, pembina, pelatih kontingen dari seluruh Kwartir Cabang.
